"Piigs" Won't Fly at Barclays

A February 5 2010 article on Bloomberg.com indicates that Barclays Plc analysts will no longer refer to the five indebted countries (Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece and Spain) as the "Piigs".

Peter Sorrentino, an analyst at Cinncinati based Huntington Asset Advisors, is quoted suggesting that the term is "denigrating".

Is it only us, or does anyone else think that Mr. Sorrentino, of all people, should know that Pigs can fly ... especially in Cincinnati.
